Zoning Variance and Special Permit requests are to be submitted to the Village Clerk at shabbonaclerk [at] gmail.com (shabbonaclerk[at]gmail[dot]com). Please contact the Village Clerk with any variance or special permit questions.
Public Utility Permit Application is available under building permit forms. Companies that are planning to do telephone, cable TV, electric, gas, fiber optic or other underground or aerial work within the village need to submit the Utility Permit Application along with drawings. The Village Engineer will review and approve Utility Permit Application. The Village of Shabbona will issue permit.
If Public Utilities are doing any directional boring within the Village of Shabbona, public utility companies need to fill out the Utility Permit Application and submit to the Village as notification of directional boring.
