What is the debt reduction on my utility bill?

The charge for debt reduction is used to maintain Infrastructure (water, sewer, storm) within the Village.  

When is garbage picked up?

Garbage and recycling are picked up on Fridays, unless otherwise noted for Holidays or severe weather.

When is my water bill due?

Utility Bills are due by 6pm on the 30th of the month - January, April, July and October.

Why was I charged late fee on my utility bill?

Utility Bills are late if payment is not received before 6pm on the 30th of the month due - 10% late fee is added to the current amount due after 6pm on the 30th day.  Late fees must be paid in order to avoid shut off and shut off fees.

Why was my water shut off?

Payments not received for current balance plus late fees by 6pm on the 45th day (15 days after original due date of the 30th) will be assessed a Delinquency Fee of $150.00 and account will be scheduled for shut off on the morning of the 46th day.  Payment including current balance, late fees, and delinquency fee must be paid in order for water service to be restored.
