NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board/Planning Commission of the Village of Shabbona will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. in the meeting room at Shabbona Village Hall, located at 206 S Blackhawk Street, Shabbona, IL. The public hearing is to consider an application filed by Adam Honiotes. The applicant is requesting a Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) for the property located at 201 E Comanche, legally described as: ORIGINAL VILLAGE OF SHABBONA-BLOCK 21- LOT 6 & W 1/2 LOT 5 (PIN 13-15-429-001). The proposed amendment requests a change in zoning classification from Residential R-1) to Commercial C-1 to allow for the operation of a retail business. All interested persons and citizens are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed zoning change.
